Attention:
The International Border Collie Association does not change names of dogs once they have produced a litter of puppies.
Name
changes make a pedigree search very confusing.
That
is why the I.B.C.A.'s policy is to never change the names of the sire and dam once they produce a litter of puppies.
Please
don't expect your name or kennel name to appear in the dog's name when we dual register the dog from another registry.
You may add your name at the end, but the original name stays the same. You must request this addition; it is
not done automatically.
This is our policy, and it is the policy of quite a few registries.
Just photo copy the transfer section of the papers, so we have the signature of the former
owner on file.
We
do require copies of original paperwork to be included with the dog registration form used for dual registering a dog.
Kennel
Names--if you are purchasing a dog from a breeder who has registered their kennel name with us, we will not remove that name
unless we have a written statement from the breeder allowing us to do so.

The price for litter registration
application is $10 and will include an e-mailed litter registration application. You should print out the correct number of
papers to give to your puppy buyers. These papers are to be given to the new owners upon purchase.

Both parents must be registered
with the I.B.C.A. before a litter can be registered. Also, you must pay your yearly membership fee of $10 before registering
a litter of puppies.
Fee
for registering a dog from I.B.C.A. registered parents is $15 and includes a REGISTRATION CERTIFICATE printed on PARCHMENT
PAPER. One digital picture is required for each dog registered. At the time of submission you are granting permission
to the I.B.C.A. to use this picture on their website or any of their affiliate sites.
We
also will accept titles from other registries. Please include all documentation of your dog's accomplishments for inclusion
on their registraion papers. This includes any health certifications or microchipping.

Register
your kennel with us for $25. This will assure that no one may use your kennel name without your express permission when naming
puppies.
It
also allows you to require your kennel name to be used on ALL puppies you sell, but you must add this to the papers when
you sell the puppy.
This
is a LIFETIME registration.
Foundation
Stock registration for non- papered but purebred dogs is available. The price is $50 per dog. Requirements
are as follows: three pictures (front and each side), eye color information, and height measurement as well as
two witnesses stating that your dog does appear to be a purebred Border Collie. These dogs will receive a special
number, it takes 4 full generations before their offspring has an extended pedigree.
We
reserve the right to reject any foundation stock application.
We
are still offering expedited litter applications by e-mail, AND WE WILL BE ABLE TO RECEIVE ONLINE APPLICATIONS IN THE
NEAR FUTURE. You must have a printer to use either of these applications.
We
accept Paypal or Credit Cards for these as well.
To
register a dog, mail a copy of their current registration to us. You may e-mail pictures, but be certain to label each
picture. For a litter application, you can print the one available in PDF form.
